Lumidigm J-Series

The Lumidigm J-Series is an environmentally-rugged, single-camera fingerprint reader with Image Quality Enhancement. The J-Series sensors are based on Lumidigm’s patented multispectral imaging technology which uses multiple wavelengths of light to probe fingers for fingerprint information both at the surface of the skin and just inside and beneath the skin. Unlike conventional fingerprint technology, multispectral imaging technology is not dependent on the quality or authenticity of the fingerprint ridges presented. Lumidigm sensors can look beyond the surface ridges to verify their authenticity and enhance the identifying image.

The J-Series sensor is available in two models. Both models are designed to withstand and perform well in extreme environmental conditions including outdoor use in climates with high humidity, dry climates including deserts, and hot and cold weather.

J100 Sun-Flood

The J100 Sun-Flood model contains specialized filters and illuminators that are designed specifically to tolerate direct sunlight conditions.

J110 Anti-Spoof

The J100 Anti-Spoof model contains patented technology that makes the unit highly resistant to attempts to fake a fingerprint identity or to otherwise circumvent the correct identification of a user.
