Lumidigm’s Sujan Parthasaradhi gave two papers at BiometricsIndia 2009 in New Delhi, India. The first one, entitled “Vital Specifications for the Unique ID Fingerprint System”, was a discussion of the specifications available to predict fingerprint performance and a proposal to evaluate fingerprint sensors in real world conditions. The second paper, entitled “Specifying an Image Quality Metric for Predicting Performance of the Unique ID Fingerprint System”, proposed a new standard for predicting biometric performance.
While at the BiometricsIndia conference, Mr. Parthasaradhi supported Lumidigm partner Analogics Tech India Ltd as they demonstrated their multispectral imaging fingerprint products at the Expo portion of the conference.
The third annual BiometricsIndia was collocated with SmartCards Expo 2009, the 11th international conference and exhibition of smart card technology and applications. The conferences were held September 10-12 in New Delhi, India.
