Responsibilities

Including, but not limited to:

  • Drive sales into or through channel partners
  • Identify major new market opportunities and future packaged solutions offerings to help further expand the company’s reach and value proposition
  • Build effective business relationships with key reference accounts and channel/technology partners
  • Work with others to develop new leads and quickly qualify and convert those leads to meet individual and team sales goals
  • Rapidly expand Lumidigm market share in commercial and civil biometrics market
  • Build and support channel partners by demonstrating value and creating end user demand for Lumidigm technology as part of their overall solution
  • Identify and close new business for both near term revenue and for recurring revenue downstream

Professional experience

  • Must have a significant background in technical / missionary sales
  • At least 5 years of direct sales experience
  • A demonstrated and proven track record of meeting/exceeding personal sales goals and performance targets in early stage company and/or early stage products
  • Proven skills in developing meaningful channel partnerships, creating end user demand for company products
  • Have established credentials as an effective “evangelist” and sales professional capable of effective promoting the business case and value of premium priced and non-commodity biometrics or related security products
  • Ability to very quickly develop a meaningful revenue stream and expanding market share via sales to new partners, new channels and new customers into commercial biometrics related applications.
  • Knowledge of the identity and access markets including biometrics technologies, strong authentication, physical access control or time and attendance desirable
  • Knowledge of key verticals currently deploying or considering biometrics

  • Strong sales, business development and prospecting acumen

  • Strong “hunter” profile who just “knows” where to look for new business and is self-motivated to find it
  • Excellent negotiating skills and ability to use those skills to create mutually beneficial and lasting business relationships with channel partners and customers
  • Has an extensive and established set of contacts that can be used to shorten the sales cycle and who can immediately benefit from existing Lumidigm offerings
  • Can work collaboratively with other team members to maximize any and all opportunities for self and for the company (and knows how to balance the two)

Education

Bachelor’s degree and some technical background preferred
