A simple and efficient one-touch biometrics enrollment process permits visitors to very quickly and conveniently enter the park each day. With earlier attempts to deploy biometrics, this theme park experienced performance problems and challenges due to changing weather conditions, demographics, professional occupations, age and skin conditions, just to name a few. From the customer requirement perspective, the goal of this program was to conveniently and uniquely link a secure personal biometric marker to each individual ticket. Earlier attempts to deploy biometrics were unsuccessful as the environment was generally too hostile or too difficult for most other biometric devices. Visitors are able to enroll and re-enter the park without any training, staff supervision or risk to personal privacy.
