Stanley, Inc. (NYSE: SXE), announced on April 14, 2009 that it has partnered with Lumidigm to provide a multispectral biometric sensor prototype to U.S. Army Intelligence under a contract valued at $1.7 million.
“We look forward to beginning work on this new task and assisting the U.S. Army Intelligence Center Language and Technology Office with this critical support to facilitate the use of biometrics for identity dominance,” said Phil Nolan, Stanley’s chairman, president and CEO.
Under this award, Stanley has partnered with Lumidigm, Inc., a leading biometrics sensor developer, to provide a working multi-spectral prototype sensor and software development kit for integration into mobile biometrics devices for the Language and Technology Office, U.S. Army Intelligence Center, Fort Huachuca, Ariz.
