Kristin L. Adair

Director of Program Management and Senior Scientist

Kristin Adair, PhD is Director of Program Management and Senior Scientist at Lumidigm, where she is responsible for management of the fingerprint sensor products, classification algorithm design and development, and technical sales support. Dr. Adair was the first employee at Lumidigm, starting in 2002. Prior to working at Lumidigm, she worked at InLight Solutions where she played a lead role in developing the biometric classification algorithms currently used by Lumidigm and designing and implementing the biometric studies and performing data analysis. Earlier, she served in various technical leadership and development capacities at both Los Alamos and Sandia National Laboratories. Projects included technical lead and software integrator for facility security and weapons dismantlement verification projects. In addition, she developed novel algorithms in gas chromatograph fault diagnosis and time-series anomaly detection, in addition to modeling properties of nuclear detonations. She graduated with a BS in Computer Science from Furman University, Greenville, South Carolina and from Florida State University with an MS and a PhD in Computer Science.
