A&S International published “The New Beat of Biometrics” by Rosa Chen in their September 2009 issue. Lumidigm’s Daniel Bailin was one of the experts consulted for the article, which is a snapshot of the biometrics industry today.
Security and convenience are equally critical in certain cases; money should be budgeted to purchase biometrics sensors that actually work in the real world. “The extra money spent for a quality sensor will often be more than paid back by reduced fraud and/or the elimination of alternative systems for those who cannot use the sensor,” Bailin said.
